Social Workers may do some or all of the following:
  • Work to advance the well-being of children, young people, their families and communities

  • Link people with community resources such as benefits and accommodation

  • Talk with clients about their problems, and help them make decisions about these problems

  • Advise people on their rights and opportunities

  • Support people in crisis

  • Write reports and case notes

  • Advise on social problems

 Chief Executive Position


As Chief Executive, you will continue to build a high performing team to deliver positive outcomes for our Pasifika families. To do this the Chief Executive will enjoy leading an organisation which builds and leverages strong relationships with a range of stakeholders and partners.

The role requires an advocate who will champion Pasifika aspirations. They will be in their element as the face of the organisation. We're looking for someone who can be innovative, creative and authentic in their leadership. You will have the financial capability. You will demonstrate competence in your Pasifika identity, language and culture. 

In conjunction with a supportive Board, the Chief Executive will be accountable for proactively delivering Fonua Ola's strategic intent.
